Western is committed to addressing sustainability challenges, both on campus and on a broader scale. We recognize that as a university we have an important role to play in building a sustainable future. Therefore, Western has made several regional, national and international sustainability commitments, including:

Together, these commitments reflect Western's ongoing dedication to sustainability through the teaching, research and service at our university. We are committed to working alongside other post-secondary institutions and global leaders to address some of the most challenging sustainability issues.
