Free Store
Welcome to the Free Store at Western! The Free Store is a space for campus community members to donate items they no longer want and take home things for free.
By repurposing items, you are supporting a culture of circularity and are helping to reduce carbon emissions associated with the creation and transportation of new goods.
We're currently accepting donations only throughout the summer. Campus community members can drop off donations at the Free Store between 11:30am - 1:30pm on Wednesdays (May - August).
Location change for July 16 and 23: Donations will be collected at the Western Farmers Market (10:00am - 2:00pm).
Fall Opening
The Free Store will be open to campus community members every Wednesday from 11:30am to 1:30pm, starting September 10th, for both shopping and donations.
How to Donate
The Free Store accepts donations if the items are clean, in good condition, and on our list of accepted items. Please review the Accepted and Not Accepted Items lists before bringing your donations to the Free Store.
*Please note: We are no longer collecting binders at the Free Store*
Location
The Free Store is located in the Arts & Humanities Building, Rm 1B09.
