Our Green Campus series now open for registration!

Western’s fourth annual “Our Green Campus” series begins on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017.

This three-part series focusing on Environmental Sustainability is being presented by FRESH (Food Resources and Education for Student Health).  FRESH is a peer nutrition education program sponsored by Hospitality Services and the Food and Nutritional Sciences program at Brescia University College.   This year’s series, entitled “GREEN CUISINE” will focus on sustainable healthy eating at Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.  Each session will include round table discussions as well as interactive cooking components. 

Session 1:
GREEN CUISINE – BREAKFAST BLAST-OFF
Wednesday, January 18th, 2017

Session 2:
GREEN CUISINE – LOVIN’ LUNCH
Wednesday, February 15th, 2017
Delaware Hall, Formal Lounge (6 – 8 pm)
 
Session 3:
GREEN CUISINE – DOUBLE-DUTY DINNERS
Wednesday March 15th, 2017
Delaware Hall, Formal Lounge (6 – 8 pm)
 
You must plan to participate in the lecture and interactive component in order to receive credit on your co-curricular record. You will receive credit for each module you attend.  You are strongly encouraged to attend all 3 modules for which you will also receive a certificate acknowledging your commitment to sustainability.

Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a maximum capacity of 100 students for each module.
